Central Hotel Tullamore

Bar atmosphere was relaxing after a busy day.

Spent our time lovely in this lovely quiet hotel. The room we had included it's own balcony and a new carpet. The venue had a perfect location very close to Irish Midlands Ancestry. Set in 5 minutes' walk to downtown, and the staff were very attentive and efficient. A train station was located close to the venue.

Had pleasant stay on this visit and the weather was sunny. The room was soundproof and tidy with balcony, shorter notice and excellent breakfast, everything was very good. The location was perfect and excellent and the staff members were smart. This hotel was set in a good area. They offered us very pleasant meals, had a wide array of options to choose from.

easy access to parks and landmarks enhances your stay

the hotel is just a few steps from the lovely town park and only a short stroll to the offaly history centre, making my weekend city strolls effortless and enjoyable, while my room had a great view of the park that I loved waking up to each morning.

The room was huge and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location was very central and within easy walk of town. The breakfast buffet was very good. This hotel was an exceptional value. It was the nicest of the five hotels we stayed in during our Ireland trip and was the least expensive. We had a great time here.

Centrally located for us. The room is reasonably priced.

Last visit was on a golf outing to Castlebarna Golf Club in Daingean. The hotel was good value and the service was good.

Carpet in the room showed stains, casting a shadow on the overall cleanliness. The TV setup was dated with a limited channel selection, which might disappoint those wanting to kick back and enjoy some entertainment during downtime. It was unfortunate that dining options were limited on Sundays, leaving us to seek food elsewhere.

Good value did what was needed and well managed

It met all our needs to a high standard, and we would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to everything in town. After a rocky start with a room that had a strong smell of smoke, we were delighted with our new room offering a beautiful view of the park and a much cleaner environment. The breakfast options were excellent, especially the fresh French pastries which complemented the hearty sausages and baked beans perfectly.

Staff very co-operative and pleasant. The bedlinen and toilets were clean.

Outside appearance of hotel was grubby. The carpet in bedrooms all stained. TV not working in all rooms. Breakfast ok - no brown bread - very basic. The evening meal not good - would never eat there again.
