the hotel is just a few steps from the lovely town park and only a short stroll to the offaly history centre, making my weekend city strolls effortless and enjoyable, while my room had a great view of the park that I loved waking up to each morning.

Carpet in the room showed stains that made it feel a bit neglected, casting a shadow on the overall cleanliness. The TV setup was dated with a limited channel selection, which might disappoint those wanting to kick back and enjoy some entertainment during downtime. it was unfortunate that dining options were limited on Sundays, leaving us to seek food elsewhere.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the train station and close to everything in town. After a rocky start with a room that had a strong smell of smoke, we were delighted with our new room offering a beautiful view of the park and a much cleaner environment.
